i need a motherboard for my i5 6600k i was look at the MSI Z170A GAMING M3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard or the Gigabyte GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 Micro ATX LGA1151 but i dont know what to pick what would me the best one to overclock gameing and more

I prefer Gigabyte products at the price range. Read the reviews and see if they will do what you want.

Lower end MSI board tend to have more features but have lower performance.

I would pick Gigabyte . Usually when I look for a motherboard i try to look for Gigabyte or Asus . If you can avoid Asrock. Msi is pretty good though

I guess I'm lucky then, we use ASRock almost exclusively at school because of good price/performance and have yet to have significant issues.

Haha yah . Most people don't understand if you can get a gigabyte or asrock board in the same price range .... Why not get the better reliable brand

I have a gigabyte board and I've smacked the thing around like a rag doll and it will still work lol . I had an MSI board and it felt flimsy . Although I prefer the MSI bios over anything
