So here's the thing, i planning to change amd rig to intel , what exactly should i choose to multimedia and play recent and upcoming game Online/Offline Ultra 60fps on Ultrawide 21:9 Monitor. and my internet speed is suck like 1mbps, is there any way to prevent lag while gaming online ?

here's my spec

AMD A10-5800K @ 4.3GHz
Cooler Master Hyper 212X Turbo
Gigabye G1 Sniper A88X
Corsair Vengeance Pro (2x4) 8GB
ASUS STRIX GeForce GTX 960
Corsair VS 550W
LG 25UM57 Ultrawide
WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RMP
Cooler Master Elite 431

and here is my planing upgrade

Intel Core i5-4690K
ASUS Z97 PRO Gamer// MSI Z97 Gaming 5// Gigabyte GA-Z97X - Gaming 3
Corsair Vengeance Pro (2x4) 8GB (Add more ram)
MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V/ Zotac GTX 970 ZT-90101-10P

i know my current build is ugly, and i need help. Is my planing upgrade build on the right track ? is my VS 550W can handle all of this ? im really noob at this and need the answer.. thanks :)

Solution

If you want to talk color preferences, go buy the EVGA G2/P2 650W or a Seasonic XP2 unit and then get a motherboard with the colors you want. If that's not in your budget, drop the color preferences and get a cheaper board like the D3H (does overclock) so you can afford a G2 650W
