I got myself a Scorpion K9 two weeks ago and it was working perfectly. Yesterday it just suddenly began to type in wrong letters, such as "X" is now "GX", "K" is now "LD". The number "1" is now my shutdown button.

Things that I've tried:

Pressing FN+NUMLCK.
Removing my keyboard drivers.
Simple restart of the pc.
Sytem restore.

Please can you help me out?

If you are running Windows, it is possible that you have somehow managed to change keyboard layouts or input methods.

The quickest thing to try would be the keyboard shortcut, Left Alt + Shift, and see if the input language switches.

Under some versions of Windows, you may actually see the input language displayed in the System Notification area (by the clock in the Task Bar) which you can click to switch to another input language.

If neither method helps, open the Windows Control Panel. In Control Panel, choose the Clock, Language, and Region group. In Clock, Region, and Language group, choose Change input methods. You can now add or remove languages if the wrong one is installed or the correct one missing, and next to each language is Options, which allows you to change the input method for each. Verify that the input method is correct for your installed language.

I tried the old one the next day and it worked with no problems. Tried the new one on my dads pc and the problem is still there.

Yep, SWAP the keyboard with another PC. That should point you in the right direction.

Keyboard still bad on another PC? Bad keyboard.
