good morning everybody
I've got a though decision to do.
At the moment I got an AMD fx 6300
with an Asus asus p5a78-m.
I must say this motherboard is driving me insane
Oo bloody mighty, it crashes when ever I try to OC, ( I'm an experienced oc'er)
And the intriguing part is that it doesn't show the full amount of my ram.
So i decided to get something new.
I see 3 options:
1.I could get a new asus 970 pro gaming aura( the fx 6300 is a marvellous cpu and I can play the witcher 3 bf4 rise of the tomb raider on high settings with 60 fps
I just feel it ages
2. I wait for Zen.
3. Or I go intel.
My budget is 350 fr. ( I'm Irish/Canadian and live in switzerland)
What would you people do?

That MB is by no stretch of imagination overclocking dream. No wander you have problems OCing with it. I would (and did) go for a better one, with 6+2 (digital VRM) or 8+2 (analog VRM) with which you can OC good and wait for Zen if you are adamant for keeping with AMD.

I'd personally upgrade my CPU, intel perhaps. Probably because i would just want to spend once and then keep the system going for atleast like an year or two. But, if you go for intel, i'd suggest skylake, and for that you'd have to up your mobo, cpu and ram. But i'd say it's a wortjwhile upgrade, if you can give me a website you shop from, i can give you some suggestions.
