I just moved into a home that I've set up 1 Gigabit speed internet. The problem is there is no way to directly connect the Ethernet cable to my PC so I'm going to have to connect wirelessly. The only device I have is a 4 year old lynksys USB adapter but the speeds I'm getting are no more than 30 Mbps. Are there any USB adapters that support over 100 Mbps that are under $50 that I can buy? Thanks for any help.

Speed also depends on how far away you are from the router, what type of material is in between the two and what interference is in the area.
