The EVGA 960 GTX graphics card I bought has Dual Link DVI-I, HDMI 2.0, 3x DisplayPort 1.2 standard display connectors.
My (2) monitors have RGB and DVI-I input connectors.
How can I connect the graphics card output to my monitors given the monitors do not have the same connectors as the graphics card?

Thank you.

With RGB - you mean D-SUB , right?

You can connect D-SUB monitor with DVI-I->D-SUB adapter.

You can connect DVI-I monitor to DVI-I output
or to HDMI output with HDMI->DVI-D adapter

or to DP output with DP->DVI-D adapter.

SkyNetRising is correct but 1st you should know the port configuration because you have 5 ports and i dont think your video card will give signal to all 5 at the same time probably max 4 monitors. So there should be some setup for the ports you could use when you connect more then 1 monitor.

I want to span my video card output across (2) flat panel monitors using WIN7.
The GTX 960 video card has (1) HDMI output, (1) DVI-I output, and (3) Display port 1.2 outputs.

So, the question is: What video card outputs should I use to span the video across my two monitors? Both monitors have DVI and D-sub connectors.

Hoping that clarifies the matter.

Thank you.

So using one graphics card DVI output and one HDMI output from the same graphics card will produce equivalent video signals, one signal to each of two monitors? The video signals can be from two different video card output types and the monitors will still be able to split the display in half across the two monitors?

Since I already have two DVI cables for the monitors, I will only need one HDMI-DVI cable to complete my video connections.

Is there any loss of video fidelity using say a DVI cable vs a HDMI cable vs a display port cable?

Are the DVI connectors in each monitor usually female connectors?

Thank you Sir.
