I know there are a bunch of threads going around about the red led cpu light, but none of the suggestions have worked for me. Here is my setup:
Sabertooth X79
Intel Core i7-3930K
Corsair 1600C8 memory
Everything has been running fine for about 3 years.

So the other day, my PC just shut off and would not power back on. However, if I unplugged the 8 PIN power connector from the EATX12V, the PC would boot, but of course no power to the CPU. After reading these same forums, many suggested that I had some MOSFET errors on my motherboard, so I replaced my motherboard with the exact same model. However, I am now getting the dreaded RED CPU LED LIGHT. Everything powers up, Fans, Hard drives etc.- no beeps though. Here is what I have done so far:

Different power supply
Moving RAM around (using one stick)
Changing thermal paste and cleaning CPU, and reseeding it
There are no pins on the CPU, so everything looks fine (no sign of scarring etc)
Reset CMOS
Flashed BIOS
Different Video Card
Tightened and loosen the CPU Cooler
Unplugged everything but the CPU
Verified all power connectors.

So, does anyone have any other ideas? My fear is somehow my CPU is bad- but I know that is very rare- so I just wanted to reach out and get anyone's thoughts.
