Hey everyone, I pretty much have a brand new computer it is about 3 months old. The problem is that both monitors randomly go black and about 2 seconds later all sound is gone and the back lights on my keyboard/mouse freeze along with the computer entirely. The problem is completely random its happened 3 times and every time it has happened I was doing a combination of the following: google chrome, watching netflix, watching a twitch stream, league of legends client open.
Here is a list of my specs:
-Gigabyte GA?Z97X?Gaming 7 ATX Motherboard
-Intel Core i7-4790K
-Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB Kit
-GEFORCE® GTX 970 GAMING 4G
-Corsair RM Series, RM750, 750 Watt
The only old parts are a 5 year old 1tb hard-drive and 250gb Samsung ssd.

There is a chance that the res difference is causing heat/load problems, did you set them to the exact same resolution and hz? If so and it still happens there is a chance that the driver for the graphics card could cause the issue, a possible fix is erase the driver with ddu and install a known good and stable driver straight from the website. Lastly the only other things that come to mind is an overheating issue, such as an uneven or pocketed spread of thermal paste on cpu, overheating in the case near the motherboard, or issues with power delivery. Could be a failing psu or wire from the psu, could even be an over draw from the wall outlet causing a dip in power enough to scare the pc into crashing.
