looking the best motherboard for video editing

Solution
Anything in the last 3 generations of intel sockets will be good. If you aren't aware of the situation enough to provide more detail in your question, you likely aren't savvy enough to overclock. Thus, any motherboard will be just fine that fits the CPU you want.

I suggest getting an i7 processor and compatible motherboard.

If you have unlimited budget and are a professional, I agree with okcnaline's suggestion of a dual CPU insane-o-board.

Why don't you provide us with a bit more information about what you are doing, what programs you're using, budget, do you have any parts already, and so on. Its impossible to make a good recommendation without knowing that and all the responses you have gotten so far have been nothing short of BS.
