CPU Fan Problem

So i bought this motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 Intel Z97. It has 4-pin cpu fan connector and so did my previous motherboard have, but i have 3-pin fans (Noctua nh-d14). In older motherboards bios there was an option to change fan control type to Voltage, but i cant do the same with this motherboard.

Speedfan can't control my cpu fans.

Am i stupid and missing some obvious thing? Is there any fixes?

Solution
Z97 boards often auto sense the type of fan and provide the appropriate fan control. If the CPU header is PWM only, then your options include:

a) use a system header
b) use a PWM => DCV Converter. Phanteks provides one in the box with all of their cooler.
c) use on of these:

Speedfan is a valuable stopgap utility for inexpensive Motherboards that don't include their own fan control utility. Your manual (page 23). will describe what is offered in this vein on your board

Thanks for you answer!

Phanteks PWM Fan Hub seems like a good option.

I was thinking should i just "upgrade" to Noctua nh-d15 which has 4-pin connector?Or does it? I can just return Noctua nh-d14 and pay 10€ more and to get Noctua nh-d15. Phanteks PWM Fan Hub costs 20€ here.

If ya gonna change coolers .... consider the PH-TC14PE which has a bot more of a payoff if the aesthetic improvement and quieter fans appeals to you. Thermally it's better than the D14 tho not as good as the 15.

The thing what the hub tho ... ya can put 11 fans on it.
