Hello everybody,

I'm not a gamer/overclocker but I do play games and I have an acoustic issue with the graphics card in the headline. It's too loud. To address this I looked for water cooling solutions, however, it seems this design is not a reference one and couldn't find any kits out there that would list it as supported.

I tried to ask XFX for advice or if fitting a water cooler voids the warranty but couldn't get a reply.

I was looking at this water cooling kit to fit on my card:

https://www.arctic.ac/uk_en/accelero-hybrid-iii-120.html

The card is the one pictured in this review:

My concern is that the stock VRM radiator is too small to work in a passive cooling way and the Arctic kit might have a problem fitting in this design since the VRM is not located near the power sockets, as you would usually expect to find it.

Has anyone fitted this water cooler or a different one on this card?

Hello,

You are welcome to modify your cooler in North America (the warranty void stickers dont apply). We've been a modder friendly company since the beginning. You may want to contact to water cooler manufacturer for specific questions on models as they would know if someone returned their product because of incompatibility. If your fan is too loud, you may find its a failing fan/bearing and we could send a repalcement. Please let us know

Hello Mark,

I went with an upgrade to a watercooled Fury X from a different manufacturer.

The fan noise was present from the very beginning with rpms >3000rpm and 88 degrees Celsius being the norm while playing Fallout 4.

Everything on stock clocks, bios with the latest Crimson drivers. Anyway, the card is up for sale.
