My PS3 crashed and wont play anymore. it wont even get to a load screen. it came up with several bad sectors i have tried to restore default settings but nothing works. my kids convinced me to just buy a new 1T drive for it but that didn't help at all. i spent what money i have on the damn drive so i have no way to take it some place to fix it and sure as hell dont have the money to buy a new PS#. is there anything i can do myself to fix this issue. does the new 1T drive need formatted or something. it is a " sata PS3/PS4 WL1000SATA 25-PS according to the drive sticker. at this point i don't care about the lost game data i just want it working again.
my PS3 has tons of bad sectors on the hard drive. what can i do??
