Cloud Network Storage Enclosure?

hey guys
i want to setup a home cloud storage to share my data. i have used wd my cloud storage before and it was great until i got solid red led which means brick! i have returned for refund and now have 200$ . this time wanna get Cloud Network Storage Enclosure. there are different brand such dlink. buffalo, wd,.... i need to set privacy for file and folders too. i had this option with wd my cloud.
which of them is better for my purpose?

I recommend you get an enclosure from WD for the extra reliability and solid performance (Recommended)but if you want something that is super fast to transfer files to and from it across the network go with the DLink one

OR if you want BOTH

Do the following
Get a D-Link enclosure and put a WD Drive in it
