HD 7850 Driver Problems

hi again

I am having trouble with a Gigabyte HD 7850 on win7
it goes fine when I boot into windows but once I install the driver from ati website I get past the bios and windows loading screen then the screen just goes black.

Ive googled abit and found a number of people with the same issue but no fix so far. I can boot into safe mode fine and uninstall the driver I even tried the driver from the gigabyte site and still the same. does anybody have any other ideas or links to maybe an older driver I could try?

Corrupt drivers?
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

Ive tried the original from the gigabyte site, the latest one from ati site and 12.13 I think it was as recommended on another post but nothing so far im beginning to think the gpu is stuffed. But ill try and find that one
