Hi,
I have a display damaged Msi Cz620mx with good condition processor i5.
Yesterday uncle bought me a Acer Aspire E5 772G with i3 processor.
For those notebooks non-Apple some said you can change without any problem.
Is my motherboard compatible for Msi's processor?

Thanks

The CX620mx was available with several different i5, but most of them have BGA sockets, which means that the chip is soldered in place. In addition, as mentioned above, the chips are completely different generations and different sockets and could not be changed anyway.

The good news is that your current i3 (if the i3 4005U) is likey faster and better than the older i5.
