DNS Server Error

Good Evening!

For a long time know I have been getting DNS server issues; dns server not responding, error connection time out then back to dns server error etc.

I am using dpc3825 Cisco modem combo with a DLINK AC2300 router. I have disabled the wifi on the modem and also tried running it with just the modem. I have this problem on all devices whether its a mac, laptop windows 7, windows 10 desktop, android phone.

I live in a new apartment building and the DVP of my internet company lives 2 floors up from me. So I doubt the issue is on their end.

I have tried: resetting both the router and modem multiple times. I have used all the guides I could find online flushing dns ip and files. I have also tried setting the DNS servers to googles. I am at a loss

The settings may be under advanced options or you may have to login as the administrator. Try channels 3-4 and 8-9 as they look the least congested.

I was wrong its giving me the error again DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET, DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN, ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT, etc.

Any suggestions? and how do i remove the answer as solution or I cant?

Since it happens on all devices, it's either modem/router settings or possibly a filter of some sort used by your ISP. Does it occur on all websites or just specific ones? And does it affect all browsers or just one in particular?

It happens on all websites and different browsers too (chrome safari IE). And I have reset router and modem to factory default before as well did firmware upgrades etc. and manually set DNS servers 2 and it happened still. (my internet still works perfectly fine as I can play online video games fine (as long as I am loaded in)).

I think I would contact the ISP and see if they have some kind of filter enabled. I had a similar problem that resetting my browser to default settings cured, but since it's multiple browsers and devices, it must be something else.
