I want to know the fastest RAM that will work with the Powermac G5 crucial says 800mhz http://uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/power-mac-g5-%28quad-2*5ghz-ddr2%29/CT2840608 apple says 533mhz which one is right.

Manufacturer recommends 533 MHz as the best speed.
While the 800 MHz memory will work, it will downclock to the speed of the motherboard supported, so chances are likely for the system to downclock to 667 MHz or as the recommend working speed 533 MHz. In other words, there is no guarantee that it will work at 800 MHz.
