Hello experts,
I have build my very first pc and now when I boot it it says CPU Fan speed error detected. Press F1 to Run SETUP. This takes me to the BIOS. I googled it and everybody said I should put my fan speed lower limit to 200-300. This is what I did but it still gibes the same message when I boot. I'm at a point where I really don't know what to do and I need your help. Hopefully the forums can fix my problem once again.
Specs:
Asus Z170-A
I5-6600k
Hyper 212 EVO

Solution
Hello... Try your CPU fan directly into the CPU_FAN MB header, to determine if the error goes away.
Yes.... try the CPU_FAN header input of the HUB.
Your CPU fan could have a damaged Tach feedback circuit in it, RMA the fan.

Yes it is in the correct CPU_FAN header. My case is the Phanteks Enthoo Pro. It comes with a build-in PWM hub. This hub has a CPU_FAN header aswell. Can that be the problem?

That would be so annoying... Thanks for the input though
Going to try the CPU_FAN header on the Hub now
