My current memory is Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Dual Channel

I found TeamGroup Vulcan Red 8GB DDR3 2400MHz CL11 Dual Channel at the same price

Should i buy the same Crucial memory or this 2400Mhz ones are better?

System specs? If you want to use the old memory with new memory it needs to be the same voltage, speed and cas latency. If you just want to replace DDR3 1600 with DDR3 2400 then as long as your motherboard and CPU support the 2400 you can do it. The 2400 will be faster in some applications like photo and video editing and rendering. If gaming is your primary focus there will be almost no difference with the faster RAM.

Keep it the same. Even if both set of modules work with each other, the 2400mhz will run at 1600mhz speed.

Plus, it's good practice to keep the same set of memory across the whole board. Different brands/types of memory don't always play nicely together.

^ This guy's right. RAM is relatively cheap right now though, so if you have the extra cash I'd go for two new DDR3-2666 RAM to replace the RAM you have now. If you want to save cash though yeah get another stick of DDR3-1600 RAM.
