Im wondering if i should get this over a gtx 960. I mostly play games like GTA V, 2K16, Dayz, Mortal Kombat X, and The Division

960 is out of the picture IMO. The 970 is cheap and will play those game decently, and the 980 TI is more expensive but will rip through those games and more to come. The 980 TI will probably last you 2-3 years longer in terms of playing modern games with decent settings and frames.

whats your budget? im having difficulty finding the price for that gpu, if its around $200 why not go for msi R9 380?
and if its around $300 go 390
