Hey guys!
I was playing the MOBA Smite the other day and I noticed that my game wasn't running above a 100 fps. I have an r9 380, which im pretty sure should be able to run at above 100 consistently. This is really bothering me since my friend has a gtx 660 ti and he's getting about 150 fps consistently and im getting like 60-100 (mostly in 70s). So, I was wondering if this was a cpu bottleneck since I heard smite is a pretty cpu intensive game. Thanks for responding!

Solution
It's probably not your CPU, but even if it was, most likely you don't have a 144Hz monitor.
That means that even if you have 150FPS, the monitor can't display them and will display 60 or 70 per second.
If you just want to stick it to your friend, sure go for it, but it won't have any effect on your gameplay.
