I was playing a relaxing game of bf4 a couple of hours ago when I suddenly get kicked from the game with the error message saying I have lost internet connection and should check my internet. For some reason my internet had cut out, so I checked my router, and it was working fine, in fact, both my laptop and my iPhone were connected to the wifi and had internet. I looked at the network, and its being picked up as a public unidentified network. I opened the network troubleshooter and it came with "Local area connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration". This is a wired connection, so I was very confused. I entered my cmd and put in the ipconfig command with the results below:

C:\Windows\system32>ipconfig/all

I looked this problem up and tried all the solutions i could find, I disabled the ipv6, I deleted my avast antivirus, I also tried a reg fix that makes the labels the network a private work network, set the speed/duplex to different values, but none of these helped in any way. Some people suggested manually putting in the ip, subnet mask and all that under the ipv4, I tried this but this didn't help much either. I also uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers to no avail. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Yup, agreed the powerline adapters are the issue. If you can reset them it is possible that they might work, or one might be broken.

Sometimes PL adapters set up their own network that messes up the main subnet connection. Try a reset on them and look at the manual for how to change their network setting if they have the capability.

I feel like that definitely didn't happen, because both my laptop and my phone which use the same network work just fine

It sounds like you have tried the most common fixes. Did you try changing the MAC address of the LAN adapter using THIS free tool.

Those settings you are getting are the default Windows IP and subnet with the unidentified network problem that was never addressed in Windows 7.

I'll go ahead and try that right now. You say it was never addressed, so does that mean that there is a possibility of no fix?

Seems the mac change didn't work either. I clicked to change it to a random mac address but there has been no effect, and the network is still seen as a public unidentified.

you know what, I think it's a wiring problem because I can't even ping my router, so I'm gonna go ahead and swap out my cables and see if that does it. If not, I honestly don't know what to do... wifi here i come.

Turns out its not the wires either... I'm out of options. I would like to add that its not a direct connection to the router but instead through two pairing boxes that are plugged into the house outlet because my pc and the router r in two different rooms. The pairing box model is a tp link pa410. I dont know if this changes anything or not. I just dont understand why one minute it was working perfectly fine and the next it completely breaks.

The likely cause is that the powerline adapters stop working. Fix that and you'll get back your network connection.
