Graphics all distorted on Dell Inspiron 6542 with NVIDIA Geforce 620M

Hello,

I dropped my laptop on the floor. After that, whenever I try to play a game on my Dell Inspiron 6542 with NVIDIA Geforce 620M, the graphics are all distorted and unplayable. But it works fine with the integrated Intel graphics.

Is the damage serious? If yes, can the NVIDIA Geforce 620M be replaced with another?

Can it not be something as simple as a loose connection? My laptop is not even two years old. :(

Yes, it might just be a loose connection. That is what I would think first. Try that first and see if anything is damaged on the motherboard. Good luck hope it all turns out well.
