One of the front USB Ports are fried, so I disabled them and I want to get one working again, how do I do this?

As the long title says, one of my front USB Ports are fried, so I disabled them and I want to get one working again, how do I do this?

Hi

Is the electronics in the USB port blown or the USB socket faulty?

Often you have 2 or 3 USB headers on the motherboard each connecting to 2 USB sockets

If there is a short in the usb socket you maybe able to to clear the fault or disconnect that socket then cover that socket up to prevent accidental use
