I agree with others that it will not run normally, but with a performance mod you can certainly run it, it will just look like crap. This mod could do it:

Seriously though, don't buy GTA just for a low end laptop. If you have a gaming PC plus your laptop though, then go for it. If you do just have that laptop buy GTA SAN ANDREAS - great game.
