suffering frame rate drops while playing games

hi i have recnetly got a new pc but i used my old power supply out of my old system and now i am suffering crashes and frame rate drops from 60 to 30 fps in any game is my power supply under powering the system? here are my system specs
nvidia gtx 780 3gb
intel i7 skylake 6700k
8gb ram
z170 pro gaming
600w corsair psu
4 cooling fans
water pump (water cooled)
2 hard drive 1 m.2 drive and a 3tb drive

IF the FPS in the original post is correct and accurate, it sounds like VSYNC is on and dropping from 60 to 30 when 60FPS can't be maintained.

If that is indeed the case, your options are turn off VSYNC or turn down some settings until it can maintain 60FPS.

As to the crashing, without more info my guess would be the Nvidia driver crashing, good luck getting one that behaves in all games.

Unless the PSU is bad then it shouldnt be a problem, that wattage is plenty, and i have absolutely no problems with my Corsair PSU, have you checked for overheating issues, sounds like GPU and/or CPU throttling to me.
