14 out of my 15 friends told me that I made a garbage PC & this PC won't be good in the future? I'm sad help ?

Processor = Intel Core I5 6600K 6th Generation with Intel Fan (This Processor does not come with a fan so I bought fan separately )

Motherboard = Gigabyte H170

Graphic Card = Nvidia GTX 960 4GB (Gigabyte)

Hard Disk = 2TB (Western Digital)

Power Supply = Antec 650 Watt + Antec Cabinet.

SSD = 120 GB

Keyboard+Mouse = Dell (Wireless)

Printer = HP (Print,Scan & Copy)

UPS = (Microtec)

I don't know why they are telling me that because I was sure that i was making a advanced PC but they just killed me with their comments only my GF told me that it's good but I don't know if it is

Help ? is it that bad?

They are probably jealous.

Although you could do a bit better with your money and the purchase of an overclockable CPU and non-overclocking motherboard was a mistake, the PC overall is powerful.

You only have GTX 960 in there but with the 6600K, you can upgrade to any graphics card you want since the CPU is so good, it won't bottleneck anything.

I don't see any problem with the PC, honestly.

You should probably get rid of those friends, m8.

Its a good gaming build with lots of future upgrade potential. You should have got a Z170 motherboard as you can't overclock on that board but you have an overclockable K CPU. It might be you overpaid but that is a good setup, maybe not the best but it certainly is not garbage, anyone saying so doesn't know what they are talking about

Ignore them. I'm running a very similar build (swap out the 960 for an OC'd 750Ti) and it runs any game I can throw at it at 1080p on med-high settings without breaking a sweat. Did these people actually give a reason as to why they thought it was a bad build...? ~

That's one of the most extreme fanboy scenarios ever. I might be a bit of an AMD fan but unless you are after an editing/workstation build AMD just doesn't have much to offer. The i5 is quite solid.

Yep, I figured. The i5 is really the best gaming CPU out there today. FX isn't really good for gaming and the i7 is only marginally faster, plus costing 50% more.
