I turned on my PC this morning and smelt a burning smell coming from my fans. So I took all the fans out and turned on the PC

You took the fans out and your mobo caught fire? There is no way to know how much damage was sustained without individually checking the components. Heat is the most damaging thing a computer can endure.

It was a capasitor that blew near the top left of the mobo. It only looked like it was a fan at the time until i moved the fans
