So apparently my motherboard is a really bad choice when matched with my processor (I bought it pre-built as i don't know much about building PC's) and since the CPU's the most expensive part in it besides the graphics card, i want to upgrade the motherboard and the CPU cooler plus add some fans.

What should i get?

Current pairing:
MSI 760GM-P23 (FX) MB
AMD FX 8320 3.5Ghz

Possible Replacement:
MSI 970A Sli Krait Edition

BONUS QUESTION:

If my case's front panel doesn't have USB 3.0/3.1 support, will it still work? It's a Cooler Master Elite 430

Solution
Yea I would go for that msi 970a motherboard. It will fit in your case. You can get a front 5.25" USB 3.0 ports or a new case with USB 3.0 front ports.

If i wanted to just stick with my case, would i still be able to use the front ports or not?
