i am not want to format th disk due to loss data. how do i recover all my data

i accidently pulled out my thumbdrive. What I plug it back, it ask me to format the disk in the drive.

I guess you've learned the hard way that you should always eject your external storage devices before you physically disconnect them from the computer. :(

You should try it with a different computer and/or device, to see if you'd be able to open it properly. If that doesn't help, you could also try accessing it via Ubuntu Live USB/DVD (this is basically a freeware, bootable, portable version of Linux), to see if the flash drive's partition is properly recognized and if you can get to your files. Another option would be, to give data recovery software a try.
