Hello everybody!
I know this question was already asked too many times, but I sincerely need some help!
I'm trying to configure 2 routers in my house and the specs are as follows:
• My 1st (main) router is a TP-Link Archer C2;
• My 2nd router is a D-Link DI-524;
• Connected to my main router there is a Range Extender (TP-Link WA850RE) - about 15 meters away;
I have a computer connected to my main router via cable in my room, which is fairly far from the main router (about 40 meters), and due to this distance and many walls between, I'm using cable and not Wireless (I also use this PC for gaming, so...)

But I'd like to attach this 2nd router so I can have Wireless in my room.
The point is, I already tried everything I've found on Internet about setting up 2 routers, but nothing seems to work.

The configuration of both routers is as follows:
• 1st router - DHCP is on (Range is from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199), LAN IP is 192.168.0.1;
• 2nd router - DHCP is OFF, LAN IP is 192.168.0.3, UPnP is OFF, Every Firewall config is OFF;

I've got some static IPs configured in my 1st router:
• 192.168.0.10 to a wired printer next to the 1st router;
• 192.168.0.5 to this PC that I'm using;
• 192.168.0.6 to a PC next to the 1st router;
• 192.168.0.2 to the RE;

The connection from 1st router to my PC is fine.
But when I try to connect the 2nd router to the 1st one, it appears that the 1st router is unable to pass the IP addresses through the 2nd one.

Any ideas why this is happening?

OBS.: Also I've already tried to switch both routers, between each other, but didn't changed anything.
I've also tried a different router as the 2nd one, but nothing changed either.

Sorry for any spelling mistakes, I'm not from North America!

Thanks in advance!

Hi.

1- DLINK must have in LAN menu an IP from your network. 192.168.0.3 and mask 255.255.255.0 is correct.
2- Archer C2 must be connected to DLINK through C2 LAN port to DLINK LAN PORT. DO NOT CONECT BOTH ROUTERS USING DLIN WAN PORT.

With this is should work. Connect computer to DLINK and ping internet (let's say 8.8.8.8). Than try to conect another device to C2 and ping the computer A.

Bye!

For this statement specifically which you have mentioned " The connection from 1st router to my PC is fine.
But when I try to connect the 2nd router to the 1st one, it appears that the 1st router is unable to pass the IP addresses through the 2nd one." It's happening because both the Routers on the LAN network cannot be connect within the same network range, Example if Router 1 IP Address is :- 192.168.1.1 then Router 2 IP Address cannot be :- 192.168.1.2 !! It will not take 2nd router in the network any how. For this you need to make them neighbours and to create neighbours you will need to do Bridging . This is the Step by Step Method , http://www.tp-link.com/en/FAQ-74.html .
