PC SUDDENLY RESTARTS WHEN PLAYING Games

hey guys, so recently my pc has been resarting whenever im playing games (dota, lol). usually it take about 2 games and then it restarts by itself. does this mean my cpu overheating ? i just apply new heatsink last december and it was fine until now. appreciate all helps

could be a few things, does it completely shut off or reboot?

Usually a sign of a failing powersupply.

6 tb hdd
660 watt psu
maximus hero vii mobo
gtx 980 ti

its reboot, and its only when im playing games (the start of the match usually)

What is the make and model of the PSU.

I'm with the guy above, I think it's the PSU not being able to supply the system.

The Seasonic is a good model so that fact moves it lower on my list of possible problems, but still doesn't rule out that it's failing.

If you think it's overheating you can use something like HWMonitor to check the temps.

i use real temp and it shows average of 26-31 and sometimes 65 but only for a second

my m12II 750w had to be rmad after a few months, since it would do the same during gaming. My new one is good now but I don't game as much anymore.

eventually it would shut off completely and require pulling power from the psu and then re plugging in to get it to even start up.

I would run hwinfo in the background and monitor the voltages. or even better with a meter if you have one handy
