cpu:Core i5-2500K
mainboard:Gigabyte P67A-UD3-B3
ram:G.SKILL DDR3 4GB XL 1600(2GBx2)
WD Caviar Blue 1TB EALX 3Y
VGA:Gigabyte GTX 580 1536MB DDR5
PSU:Scythe GOURIKI-III 700W
Sync:Cooler Master 212 Plus
This just happen yesterday and never happen before. I haven't use my PC for about a week. So no change to drivers or windows system.
The PC is about 5 years old. It was fine until I used it yesterday. I play Football Manager for about 10 minutes then my screen goes black. the light at the monitor power up button starts to flicker. The keyboard and mouse LED is still on. PC is still running, fan is still spinning but I cant do anything. If I press the power button, it will shutdown immediately, I don't have to hold the button down.
I tried restart and play the game again. Same thing happened. I try Dota2, same thing happened. So I watch youtube instead, same thing happened again. There's no dump file written at all. So, I
used my phone to search for fix. I've learned about Prime95, Furmark, HWMonitor etc.
I ran Furmark for 15 minutes. My GPU max temp was 70C and PC didn't go to black screen
I ran Prime95 for about 5 hours, CPU Max temp was about 60C. PC ran fine as well.
Then, I launch Dota2 again. My PC goes to black screen in about 10 minutes. I'm not sure what's wrong with it at all. What am I missing and what else should I do?
