My buddy has the MSI gamming 970 and I have the Asus 970 aura gamming...We both play a lot of games and have the same specs as far as video card, memory and same ssd. But his loads faster and plays the games much faster and crisper...So if I was you I would go with the 970 gamming msi.
I'd definitely go the Asus, better mobo overall and Asus has much better QC, I stick to Asus, GB and the Rock for mobos - MSI I won't use because of their poor QC
