So, is it safe to update my drivers now?

So I've heard some drivers affect your computer the 364.47, i have the 361.91 and I want to update to the 364.72, because i like having my things up to date, but I was wondering if it was still dangerous to update... help please. I am talking of Nvidia of course.
I have a 980ti

Ok, no issues not gaming, the capture server seems to be bit of a cpu-pig again.

I don't really know, but i heard it messes up your pc, with ramdom blue screens, troubles at startup, and cuts the audio at times.

Nothing yet, just do a restore point-thing and test. You can always roll back.
