Hey im finishing up a new build this upcoming week and im wondering if i can use a windows on another hard drive and use it

Yeah as the title said, Im building a new rig this upcoming week. I have this hdd that has Windows 7 or 8 on it i cant remember is it possible to use that hdd on my new rig ? And how would i be able to do it if possible.

Absolutely you can, but I would recommend getting a 120G/240G SSD and using a USB bootable ISO file just throw win 10 on the ssd. For no added cost. Afterwards, just format the HDD and use it as storage.
