So, to start, this is my first thread! I have been lurking TH for a year now and all you folks have a wonderful attention to detail and solution!

Secondly, I have done a thorough search and can see no previous thread that pertains to this EXACT question.

I am wanting to turn my cooling setup into something obscene, as I surely don't need all the fans I want to use at the moment but they will come in handy for my planned upgrades.

So as it stands this is an Enthoo Pro, and I am using the stock Phanteks rear 140mm and 200mm. However, I have placed the 200mm on top and will add another 200mm of the same model up top to pull heat and cool the extra hard drives I have in the optical bays. I will thusly replace the front intakes with 2x 140mm fans and 2x 120mm fans on the bottom for combined CFM since my choices heavily favor negative pressure.

Now for the question; I have one NZXT FZ 140mm fans that does a good job. But I also have that one Phanteks 140mm that does a good job as well. Would I be better off adding another Phanteks 140mm SP with that one for my front intakes, or go with another of the NZXT 140mm FZ fans?

No, I don't use the dust filters for intakes or exhaust as the tower sits on my desk and the dust buildup over the last four months was barely noticeable.

Solution
There isn't room for 2x 200mm fans up top unless you remove the side structure (the portion that runs from the floor of the case to the top visible behind the smaller side window). Removing that part of the case structure, you won't have room for drives up top since there won't be any 5.25" bays. The structure in the way of the second 200mm fan make the walls for the interior of the optical bays.

I'd go with 2x 140mm intakes and 2x 140mm top exhaust or continue to use the 1 200mm fan as top exhaust. Using 2x 120mm in the bottom won't do much if you're using the psu cover and the bottom 120mm closest to the front may provide air to the bottom of the first hdd it reaches (assuming you're using hdd's in the trays).

As for which fan to...

As for which fan to use, that's up to you. Both seem similar, I might try to match them but that's only because I prefer things that match (a bit ocd).

Thank you very much! I will proceed forward without the additional 200mm fan then :)
