Port Forwarding Problems

So I was able to forward one port and it worked out great and then I tried to repeat the same process and I did, but for some reason it still says that the port is closed. Can anyone give me an idea of why this would be?

Sometimes you have to select between UDP TCP or Both.

Make sure you have a program(game server maybe?) listening on this port or you may not get a reply(this the port looks closed). Your operating system firewall may also have to be setup to allow the program in question to access the network(internet in most cases).

Some routers also have to be power cycled after making port forwarding changes.
