Okay so, i got the g9000 like most people, and just like them, the mic is not working.i have tried many things and i thought i got it working, but yesterday i realized it was just using my computer's internal mic (getting it working with the internal mic is irrelevant).

It has only the single audio/mic cord and the usb, and so does my computer, one jack and nothing else, so i don't get why this problem is happening.

i can't find any drivers or anything, also when i bought it, it came in just a cardboard box with bubble wrap, no packaging, no original box, just shipped in, well, a cardboard box with some bubble wrap.

This headset is NOT USB-Headset, The USB interface is only used for power supply to LED light.
Before apply the headset on your PS4, please test it with your cellphone to ensure it function well.
PS4 setting: Insert the headset own 3.5mm jack plug into the Gamepad, then long press the PS button or enter the system Settings, there is a peripheral machines, choose "Adjust Sound and Devices", "output to the headphones", then change it to "all audio ".
It is suitable for PS4,mobile phones,tablets, laptops(with 3.5mm combo headphone/microphone port).

You were right, they are defective, but the thing is, i already had another version of headphones like this that didn't work, and had to send them back, oh well. Thank you for helping!
