I have installed new ink cartridges and when I do the test print the paper is blank. How do I get the printer to print?

I am trying to make copies from this printer. i just purchased new ink cartridges and replaced the previous ones. However, the printer is still not making any copies. I have a brother MFC-J410w

Where did you get the ink cartridges? Are they new/fresh or refills?

Any error messages or codes? Some printers will not work without a proprietary cartridge that is detected and then permits printing.

Ink could be dry - try a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to clean/clear the cartridge nozzles.

Failing any success along those lines contact Brother.
