I have AMD FX-8350 processor, MSI 990 FXA Gaming Motherboard and Corsair H100i GTX Cooler.
I have a query that if I over-clock my CPU, then will Dynamic Frequency Scaling be disabled.
e.g. - Under low load conditions the frequency drops as low as 1 G.Hz. with power consumption as low as 25 Watts (as per HWMonitor). Under load conditions the Clock frequency goes up to 4 G.Hz. and power consumption up to 120 Watts (as per HWMonitor).
If I over-clock my CPU to say will such dynamic frequency scaling will still work or will my CPU be stuck on single maximum frequency.
