Hello, I have this issue with my computer. I noticed that out of the blue my keyboard stopped working so I restarted my computer. The problem is with my computer I have to enter my bios and set a boot path everytime boot my computer up. Obviously I was unable to get into my bios because the keyboard didn't work. I've tried 5 different keyboards which didn't work, but the odd thing is all of my other USB devices work. I've tried every USB port. Nothing seems to work, I even tried flashingback my Bios. Please help!

Solution
if your motherboard has PS/2 ports (usually a pair of them side by side (green for mouse & purple for keyboard) try a native PS/2 keyboard (by "native" I mean a proper PS/2 keyboard that doesn't need a USB-PS/2 adapter).

Rare now in computer stores but still available from online vendors like Amazon.
