Hey guys!

I'm going to be upgrading to the r9 390 and getting a new PSU so I'm wondering if this one: http://www.bequiet.com/en/powersupply/526 will pack the needed punch? I'm not clocking the CPU but I might want to play around with the GPU and would the 600 watts be enough?

I see in terms of amperage it should be fine and I'm aiming at this one as it seems to be a pretty high quality one and yet - not too expensive.

Other brands that I can get our here in the same price range:

http://fsp-europe.com/aurum-92/ (The 650 watt one)
http://www.corsair.com/en/rmx-series-rm650x-650-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-fully-modular-psu

So yeah. Those are my possible choices. I'm liking the Gold Be Quiet one best but it does only have 600 watts so, what would you guys pick? And why?

PS I have an HDD, SSD and a couple of fans which would draw some extra power.

Hi - If they are all very close in price, the be quiet model wouldn't be my 1st choice, the other three units
are comparable. The be quiet model you're interested in is mfg by FSP which is same as the Aurum 92+
you linked. So, for FSP units the platinum efficiency model would be preferable.

But, the Aurum 92+ 650 has only two pcie connectors, even tho that's all you need, a PSU in this class usually
has 4. If it were me, I'd go with either the Fractal Design Edisom M (Seasonic OEM) or the RMx 650(CWT OEM),
both high quality units. In the US, the RMx has a longer warranty, but that may be different where you are.

If warranties are equal - go with the Seasonic mfg model.

The RMx one has 7 years and the Edison M one has only 3.

Now I'm not so sure which one to pick. I mean if the Edison M is seasonic build - they are beasts. I've had a seasonic last like 10 years + and still running.

Should I got with the RMx in the case that the warranty is more than twice that of the Edison?

Hi again - I'm a Seasonic fan also, but that model has a 5yr warranty here in the US, and only 3yr where
you are. In your situation I'd go with the RMx. CWT the OEM for that model can build to pretty much any quality level a client wishes, so in this instance I'd say go with it.

Enermax, a top quality PSU brand can no longer mfg PSU's (their facilities aren't modern/economical enough), but
have chosen CWT to mfg many of their own respected designs.

I hate recommending against Seasoninc, but 7yr warranty vs 3 yr, go with the 7yr.
