My analog stick always goes in downward direction

My analog stick always goes in downward direction,it is a astrum controller . When i connect my
controller in games it automatically moves down as i disconnects it it stops . How can i fix this problem. Pls help!

seems like you have analog stick drift.

first you may want to re calibrate your controller in either the windows software or the game controller software of your choice. sometimes this will fix the issue as the center/center location is not accurately represented and causes drift.

if that does not work then there likely is an issue with your controller. you might want to increase the deadzone area (% off center movement needed so until input is recognized) so that the slight off/center return location is not recognized as input. generally only a slight adjustment should be required. i think x360ce has a feature for that but other programs may as well.

While calibrating my controller with joy.cpl ,when it askes for "Axis Calibration" ,(move the Z axis all the way up and down and then press a button on controller) I move it up and down nothing happens , the blue meter remains at 50% http://i.imgur.com/fToAwst.png , There is also an analog button on the controller http://i.imgur.com/XWLzLNG.png , when i press it the meter reaches 100% http://i.imgur.com/RtQTSSL.png . PLs HELP what i do next .

OK I bought a new cheap controller , that fixes the problem and when some games will use Xbox controller I will use x360ce for it, thanks for your answers , maybe they help in future or to other people :) .
