Hi, so my toshiba usb drive which is black and says on the back; first line: N723 second line: Z218 then says PA3876 (I am telling you this because I have spent the past two hours trying to google what Toshiba Usb product it is to no avail) just stopped working on any device and every usb I own. Laptop, tablet and desktop. It isn't even telling me to format it, it just makes the noise that its been connected and shows "(D:)" in my computer. It won't read anything on the disk and says "please insert disk in (D:)". It is not even recognising how much space is on the disk or anything at all. Please help I did have some important things on there.

Hey there.

I guess that it should be recognized by Disk Management. If this is the case, you can try to assign it a new drive letter, to see if that fixes the issue. Here's how to do it: How to change the drive letter assignment in Windows. If that doesn't work, you could try downloading the USB flash drive manufacturer's formatting tool (most SD card and flash drive manufacturers offer such tools for theit devices) and try to format the pen drive with it, to see if this fixes things up.
If nothing seems to be working, you could get in touch with the reseller (or the manufacturer) you got it from and ask if you can get it replaced, if it's still under warranty.

Hope that helps.
