Hello everyone,

I am new to pc gaming, and i have the oppurtunity to buy a second-hand gaming pc.
The components:
-Intel Core i7 2600K QUAD-CORE HYPERTHREADED
-MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 4GB
-Kingston HyperX Savage HX318C9SRK2/16 16GB 1866MHZ
-Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
-WD Blue WD10EZEX 1000GB
-Asus P8Z77-M Z77 USB3 SPDIF
-be quiet! Silent Base 800 Black/Orange Windowed with Noiseblocker BlackSilent XK-1
-Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B with be quiet! SilentWings PWM
-Nexus RX-6300 630W 80 PLUS BRONZE
-Microsoft Windows 10 Pro NL 64-bit

My question is if this is a good pc for games with as many as possible mods like skyrim and fallout 4.(also other games, but mainly these two)
Also, if the answer is yes, arround what price would the pc be according to you guys?

Thanks!

Solution
yes they should

i recently upgraded from a 2600k (at 5ghz) to 6600k at 4.7ghz and dont really notice the 6600k being any faster

and have the same gtx970

played games like far cry 4 with no problems with the 2600k

This is true. I'm in the US and I personally wouldn't go higher than $800 on that. Anymore and you're better off building a new one.

yeah did a quick estimate--£450 to £500 would be what i would hope to get away with

so $640--715 us dollars

to be fair at £450--500 i would be pretty pleased with myself as that gtx970 still sells for around £270 last time i looked

but havent got time to look all the parts up on ebay to get more accurate amount

Thanks everyone, i will ask if the cpu is overclocked and if he would sell it for around 600,- euro, ($670)(470 pound).
But this components are able to play modded skyrim and fallout for like a year, before you have to upgrade anything?
Thanks again!
