Can I run 2 ssd to my motherboards sata 3 or do I need a raid card

Solution
you can fill up all 6 of those ports with SSD's if you like.

All RAID is is the ability to combine multiple hard drives or ssd's to either make a single big drive, or have some kind of drive redundancy in case one drive fails the whole thing keep going along and you just replace the bad drive.

Solution
Some clarity please, why do you think you need a RAID card? Are you planning on using the 2 disks in a RAID array? If yes, there are more questions to ask. If not, you basically just plug it in, boot up, go into disk administration, initialize it and assign a drive letter.
