My cpu is intel i5-4200U 2.6ghz, the gpu is nvdia geforce gt 720m 2gb dedicated vram with a 4gb ddr3 memory. Can i upgrade my memory to gddr4 or gddr5 either 2gb or 4gb?

I believe he is talking about system ram but using the wrong terms. But no, if the board supports ddr3, then that is all you can use. You can possible go from 4 gigs to 8, if the laptop and os supports it.

Not too savvy on GPU's but I don't think you can normally modify a GPU's memory without some serious teardown of the GPU and nailbiting. If you are talking about buying a new graphics card, that is a totally different subject and more information on your current system would be needed for compatibility.

I do not know how to say anything on the compatibility because i think it can fit any thing if I just buy it and install it, my comp runs on windows 10, but in this case, I am wondering about the ram of the system changing it from its current status which is ddr3 to gddr4-5 do you think it is possible? Because from what i've heard, the systems of processing are the same but ddr3 are known or used to be for supporting the Cpu while the Vram supports the graphic card which run gddr processor am I right ? My gpu ram is a dedicated vram so i cant upgrade it if wanted, only can replace it with a better card. I just wanted to know more about the normal ram ddr3 status whether it can be changed to a gddr4-5 or do you have a much more preferable options that i can choose to further increase my fps of loading anything cause my computer sometimes stutters and also whether it is located on another socket which can replace and work as my new ram for the computer which currently is my ddr3 4g ram. Oh and further more, is my cooling system also affecting the performance of my gpu or not making it overclocking. Sorry if there is any mistakes at the basics here because I am not an expert at electronics. Good answer is well appreciated and acknowledged my fellow humble friend.
