*Thanks for all advice and opinions in advance*

This is my first computer i am building. I will mainly use this for gaming, i want to be able to produce 1440p 60fps at minimal and compatible with my nvidia shield. I will also in the near future do some virtualization but only running one virtual machine at a time, "i am in the process of learning coding". At last, every once in a while i might stream a 4k video to my tv *plex*, just in the home (least of worries, currently using a laptop for this).

Also in a few months i plan on adding another gtx 980ti and overclocking my cpu. So i am not sure if my cooling is adequate. My knowledge on cooling and overclocking is limited, so this is why i am waiting a few months.

Initially yes. That small water cooler should do a decent job to a point, though they tend to lose their efficiency as the temperature of the whole system rises. When and if you start any sort of extreme overclocking, a custom loop may be the way to go.

As for the fans, it's simply a matter of what you will need to move air and how much. Static pressure fans like those are used to move air at greater speed and pressure in order to force it past, or though, potential obstacles. Airflow fans move more air (higher CFM) but don't move it as quickly. Basically it's the volume vs pressure argument. You can move a lot of air slowly or a smaller amount of air more quickly but you really can't do both. As a rule air will flow from higher...

Don't waste your money on the Evo if you are just going to run at stock at first. Pick up a better air cooler or go water later once you are ready to OC.

SLied 980Tis is probably overkill for just about everything but the most needy of production PCs.

I think he should get a cryorig H7 for 5-10$ more
Or save for a expensive non budget cooler

It's a great stock replacement cooler and will be adequate for a mild to moderate overclock. For more extreme overclocking, you will want a beefier cooler or go water. Also, I'd wager that if you plan on stuffing a second 980TI and OCing them, that simply increases the ambient temp inside the case, making a better cooler all the more important.

You can move a lot of air slowly or a smaller amount of air more quickly but you really can't do both. As a rule air will flow from higher pressure to lower so having your intake fans be static pressure, especially if there are going to be radiators or drive cages in the way, is often a rule of thumb. Exhaust fans can be either depending on preference. Noise and PWM will also be consideration.

Regardless, Rome was not built in a day. You have a good start but it's likely that your system will require some tweaks to get things, if not the way you want the, then at least to a point where they are acceptable.
