So, I spend alot of time on my PC and wanted to overclock and wanted to ante up the the fan speed. If I have it at max, it decreases the life span of the fan but I wondered. How many percents should I have for a gamer that plays alot and has his PC on nearly all the time. I want a little bit more decent performance without shortening my fans life span. Well of course it will decrease anyways if I ante up the percentage but I don't want it to decrease alot. I want it to be normal.

Thanks for every comment posted

Solution
The max fan speed is whatever keeps it cool. Doesn't matter if your $11 fan last longer because it's not run at full if your CPU burns out and you loose $300 because you're worried about a cheap fan.

can you just tell me how much I should put it on? Simple questions requires only simple answers

The guy is trying to help you and while you think its a simple question its not.

There is no answer to your question, YOU need to figure it out based on monitoring the temperature of your GPU while gaming and then increasing the max fan speed percentage until you get to a temperature you are comfortable with.

The 'simple answer' is "However fast it needs to go to keep things cool".
There is no defined 'number'.

I don't know what you mean by model, but I'll say MSI?

Edit: GM204-A
Maybe it's that you're talking about

Try a number like 60% and adjust it based on your temps at 60%
